Our new release of Geo-Replicator is now in the Beta programme phase, with the RFM target analysis due to be completed by the end of this year.
As always, we have taken our customers' requests into account, and this time we will be including features in our Server to Server product which will support two-way Server-to-Server replication of Microsoft SharePoint 2007/2010 site structure. This includes replication of:• New sites and lists created at the replica
• SharePoint groups defined at the replica
• Navigation
• Access rights for lists and libraries
• Deletion of sites and lists at the replica
• Views
Many new features include selection of hashing and encryption algorithms, in order to avoid using MD5 (which is not FIPS compliant), and two new tools – Event Log Monitor which monitors the Geo-Replicator event log, highlighting errors and warnings; and Replication Data Explorer, providing more diagnostics for administrators.
