Why is this worth bragging (or blogging) about? Because the difference between IE8 and IE9 is not as simple as we had expected.
We had to invest more effort than we wanted to get our Geo-Replicator Server to Laptop software to support it – this product enables people on the move to use their Microsoft SharePoint site or corporate portal with the same look and feel offline as when they are online.But I expect everyone will get a Windows update to IE9 soon – there seem to be quite a lot of loose ends in its interface with SharePoint, which are the subject of numerous other people’s blogs.
So watch this space – we will keep up with whatever technological “advances” are thrown at us.
